Mark Charmer talks with Doris Moller about the challenges of running infrastructure projects in areas such as water and sanitation in Central and Eastern Europe. Women in Europe for a Common Future today has six projects in the Akvo system and they all need funding - that's just over €100,000 worth of projects.

We talk about the dilemma that Akvo will help drive funding by making project progress visible but that can't happen until the first WECF Akvo projects get funded so her team can beging describing progress online.

We talk about her perceptions of Akvo and the challenges ahead, plus some endorsement of our approach.

As Doris puts it, "[Akvo] fits to my view of connecting experience in the field to high end lobbying and political work by bringing the actual reality facing our country partners closer to the donors and the people who are interested in it - and closer to people who live [in the communities themselves]."
