Results of the NGO preparation for the Vienna Health and Environment Inter - Minsterial Conference 13-15 June 2007

WECF and HEAL organise NGO input: side-event, NGO award ceremony and plenary session

Sascha Gabizon WECF/Eco-Forum and Genon Jensen HEAL chair the NGO preparatory meeting in Brussels on February 28th 2007


WECF and HEAL organise the input of the NGOs into the interministerial conference on children's environmental health.

On Monday and Tuesday 11-12 of June the NGOs will organise a side-event, where WECF leads the sessions on Water and Health, and HEAL on chemicals and health. The NGOs have invited high level speakers to take part in the event, including Euro parliamentarians, and Professors in the fields.

On Wednesday 13th of June, the NGOs present the winners of the NGO CEHAPE AWARD at the plenary of the inter-ministerial conference, right after the introduction by the EU Commissioner for Health.

On Friday the 15th of June, the NGOs will fill a 45 minute sessions with best practices and policy recommendations.
