WECF/ROCA Side Event at COP7 Rotterdam Convention: Chrysotile Asbestos – who pays the Bill?

WECF will organize a Side Event at the Seventh Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention in Geneva on 13th of May 2015

Testimonials and Dialogue

The event will provide first hand information about asbestos use and asbestos‐related diseases in Asia. There will be a screening of WHO’s new film “Victims of Chrysotile Asbestos – Voices from South‐East Asia” which makes the voices of Asian asbestos victims heard, followed by a presentation and discussion that will link the experiences of sufferers to the Rotterdam Convention. Some of the protagonists in the film will be present.
