A glossary on sustainable development
The Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies (ICFG) published a glossary on sustainable development from a gender perspective
17.05.2013 |WECF
The idea was to make it easier for everyone to understand what is talked about and what is meant with some words. This will also facilitate the gender sensitive approach and discussion in the post Millenium Development Goals process.
The glossary comprehensively and concisely explains key gender concepts and other general jargon and is meant to be used by all involved and interested people and institutions. It makes for a great resource, listing the key qwords alphabetically, together with an explanation and relevant UN Conventions and/or HR documents. You can download it here.
The glossary was written by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies (ICFG) as mandated by the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC)
