EU may ban dichlorobenzene in air fresheners

European Commission has recommended a ban on domestic uses of air fresheners and toilet deoderisers containing the chemical 1,4 dichlorobenzene.

A consultancy report commissioned by the European Commission has recommended a ban on domestic uses of air fresheners and toilet deoderisers containing the chemical 1,4 dichlorobenzene. The commission will now consider whether to follow the advice.
