Neighbouring city Annemasse, France, wants to become a secondary pole of international Geneva. To be in the heart (or almost) of international Geneva while keeping a foot in the European Union. Such was the compromise which enticed Ann Barre, head of the French antenna of Women in Europe For a Common Future (WECF). That's why she chose to establish the French office in Annemasse. Geneva's neighbouring city welcomes  its first Non Governmental Organisation.
