Germany paves way for ratification of the Aarhus Convention

On 15 and 16 December 2007 the following three acts entered into force: Öffentlichkeitsbeteiligungsgesetz, Umwelt-Rechtsbehelfsgesetz und Aarhus-Vertragsgesetz; please find the laws here.    

Once the German president has ratified the Aarhus-Vertragsgesetz Germany will be the 40th party to the Aarhus Convention.
