Eurobarometer - new publication on radioactive waste

The study shows very clearly differences between women and men in their atttitudes toward nuclear energy

The European Commission has just announced the publication of a new Eurobarometer survey about Radioactive waste - showing very clearly differences between women and men in their atttitudes toward nuclear energy.

55% of European Citizen's are opposed to Nuclear energy. Only 7% are totally in favour of nuclear energy. Another 30% were 'fairly in favour' of nuclear enerygy. Of all the men interviewed, 46% was totally or fairly in favour of nuclear energy. Only 29% of women were totally or fairly in favour.
