Parliamentarians: Make women's health, children's health and the environment the priority!

Large European Women's organisations support the EU Commission's draft REACH regulation and demand important changes to the draft.

This is the content of a letter that WECF sent out together with the largest representation of women in Europe, the European Women's Lobby last week. The letter went to all members of the Environment Committee, the Women's Committee, the Internal Market and Consumer Affairs Committee and the Industry Committee of the European Parliament. Parliamentarians are currently discussing the draft law and will be voting on it in October this year.

We also tried to target national parliamentarians from Germany, the UK and the Netherlands. Together with the largest national women's representations of these countries we sent a letter as well to our MEPs. It is their task to protect us from dangerous chemicals in every day consumer products. WOMEN FOR REACH AND JUSTICE!
