Georgian Environmental and Biological Monitoring Association (GEBMA) is a non-governmental, scientific, non-profit organization. The group of scientists working in environmental and health issues has established it in 1995. Main purpose of the Association is to protect human health and environment against harmful impact of chemicals, including heavy metals, pesticides, industrial chemicals, consumer chemicals, and others. Evaluation of exposure to chemicals, hygienic control of chemicals are in the scope of interest of the GEBMA.
