EWA: Gender and Food Security
A guidance document for practitioners

This guidance document is developed for the EWA project and target practitioners who work with communities on food security and sustainable development issues.
It focuses on several aspects of food security and its relation with gender. The purpose is to raise awareness on gender and gender-differentiated impacts and the different roles that men and women play in food security and sustainable development. Just as well in this document the opportunities and benefits of implementing equal access for men and women to financial and agricultural resources are highlighted.
The guidance document is available in both English and Russian.
