Gender sensitive needs assessment rural Georgia published

This study summarizes and analyses the results of a gender sensitive needs assessment in the field of gender, income generation, water & sanitation, energy and agriculture as a first activity of the EWA project.



Data was gathered through questionnaires and focus group discussions among the population of the target villages. ​The study was carried out by 4 partner organisations (SDCA, PAROS, RCDA and SEMA) who are supporting targed women and men in their target region with trainings, consultations, group formation and making linkages. The study was coordinated by WECF.

The EWA project in Georgia aims to improve livelihood of rural women and men in the mentioned topics and empower women economically as well as politically.
