WECF's LIFE ChildProtect Program & Dutch Green Platform BabyBeGood present the Sustainable Nursery

"A nursery that is not only beautiful, but where you can put your child to bed with peace of mind." WECF via its ChildProtect Program joined forces to create a unique concept: a sustainable nursery, completely free from harmful substances

27.02.2015 |

The initiators of the nursery are Anna Schoemakers and Tamara Peers, the creators of the hugely popular sustainable baby box. The idea was to create a nursery where parents could confidently let their baby sleep, free from exposure to harmful substances.

The idea had been on their minds for quite some time. After Anna became a mother for the third time, her newborn daughter served as an inspiration for the room. Anna and Tamara joined forces with WECF and with art students from the Academy Artemis and the Cibap Vocational School to design the nursery.

Tamara Peers praised this co-creation, "This unique collaboration between students and the scientific content contributed by WECF makes it easier for consumers to shop both for attractive and responsibly produced consumer goods."

The demonstration nursery can be visited from Wednesday 25th of February until Sunday March 1st in Hall 8, stand 123, at the RAI Fair in Amsterdam.
