Gender Day was held December 9 at COP20 in Peru. The Women and Gender Constituency organized that day a press conference with the theme: Refocusing gender day. “Demanding Gender Equality and Women's Human Rights on a Just, Equitable and Healthy Planet." The conference was moderated by Sabine Bock of WECF.

She said during the press briefing: “We can only get an ambitious and adequate climate agreement, if women and men equally decide, contribute and benefit from all climate policies and actions”.
