'Samen voor een Gezond Leefmilieu - op de bres voor versterking van stoffenbeleid en vermindering van gezondheidsrisico’s’ / ‘Together for a healthy environment - advocacy for enhancing substances policy and reduce health risks’.

WECF will together with its 100 member organizations influence policy making through advocacy for a stronger international chemicals policy and for sustainable consumer - and producer behavior in the Netherlands, Western - and Eastern Europe. WECF focuses on the risks of hazardous substances to the health of children and women.

WECF will give stakeholder input in the Dutch, European and international chemicals policy, encourage consumers by using new rights in EU law with buying products and inform new parents in an interactive and engaging way about fun, safe and sustainable products.
Turkish and Russian versions of the websites and publications also involve parents and migrant women (I thinks this has been taken out in the end).
WECF starts dialogue with enterprises about subsitution of hazardous substances and involve local authorities, scientists and medical care in sustainable initiatives.
Networks, capacity building and structures ensure the sustainability of results.
